yes, but when you do you will draw in every stray cat in the neighborhood. and you should expect some cat fights when a tom doesn't want to share the food. there is also a chance of the cats mating and bringing in their kittens. i took in some stray cats and fell in love with them, just to lose them to a disease they caught while they were strays.

I agree with Lyra96. I am a cat lover myself and used to feed stray cats in my old place of residence. It is true that more kitties may come and you may see more activity as she described. But, one thing I noticed was that animal behavior was already happening: it's natural and there is noting you can to to stop it from occurring. I do remember seeing the cats change as I fed them. They became more peaceful, more content, and they looked less desperate. I wound up taking in two stray cats and loving them as much as they loved me. Yes, they did pass away sooner than an indoor cat would have, but I was content in knowing that our short time together was spent comfortably and joyously..... For the cats and myself. You r doing a good deed.
