Worried I'll run into these people that are really bad news

The other day I went out with some friends to the pool and there was this group of guys there. Pretty much there were three guys in their group and four of us, one talked to me, and the other two talked to two of my friends. The guy that talked to me came on really strong. I'd say im a moderately attractive girl, but was suprised a guy came onto me like this. One of the other guys ended up going out with one of my friends. From what she said the guy was bad news, and she thinks the guys go out in a group and hit on girls where ever they can. We live in the same town, and I'm worried I'll run into one of them or the whole group again. I'm so worried about it, I don't even want to go back to the pool. What should I do?

Don't go back to the pool, & don't go out alone for a while until things blow over. In a few weeks they'll have bothered enough other girls to forget about you. If you do happen to run into 1 or 2 of them, simply act surprised & apologize because you've never seen either of them ever before & this is only the 2nd day of your release from the state mental hospital

Don't let them scare you off. Just be firm in your wish not to associate with them, if they try to make contact. Just make sure you stay with your group of friends, and if they are really bothersome, don't be afraid to get an adult (especially a lifeguard or security if possible).

When I went to parties, I always went with a friend I trusted not to leave me alone. It worked for us.

Avoid the pool for a little while. I'd hate for you to miss out on fun with your friends at the pool...so if you want to go back, and you see those guys...act like you don't know them. If the one guy tries talking to you...act like you don't remember him at all...and also make it a point to appear as not interested in him as you can.

You can't hideout all of your life. There are safety in numbers. So go to the pool with friends when others are around. Have fun. No still means NO!! Stand up for yourself now and you will find it will be easier the next time you face it. As always be safe, keep phone close for emergencies; which we should do anyway. Stand Tall.
