Can you get copyrights so nobody steals your idea by making a video that claims copyrights to the idea while showing/explaining the idea

ALSO while the video is going I will have a title bar across it with my claim that idea is made by me I will later meet up with legal professionals to get royaltees setup

It sounds like you are talking about needing a "Patent" ... Design of how an invention works. A copyright is for the protection of your rights to originality like a Play, a book, a computer program design, etc. check out the site below to see if this is what you need or not. Good Luck!/////////////

I've read that you can copyright material by simply putting a copyright "c" with a circle (not reproducible here) and placing it in the US archves for such. Or like another 'Asker' answered, call the Patent Office" I would think -guess- that fine. Ask a law student.

I'm not sure a video would provide the necessary date and time information. You could steal someone else's idea and make a video with a false date 6 months earlier, then claim you did it first. You need to talk to a patent lawyer about how to protect your intellectual property. The people on this site are not lawyers and their advice, while well-intentioned, is not likely to be helpful.
