Oh, that was horrible for me... There were times at the beginning of the year where I thought I'd never make it through high school, but two months in, it was a blast. I didn't believe things would ever get better...but they did. Once you're used to the schedule and people, everything will be fine. Tell you what: Middle school may not be as hard as high school as far as work, but the atmosphere in high school is nicer and you have more freedom at school, so you have much less pressure, and kids seem to be nicer and not so stuck up there. A few tips: DO NOOOOT give up on your work and slack, it's a HUGE mistake. Also, DO NOT take speech class unless you like speaking, because it really doesn't improve your speech and you have to do some pretty embarrassing things--well, I did. Don't worry, everything will turn out fine. I liked 9th (you may start earlier) grade better than middle school. Relax and have fun!
I graduated this year. Make sure not to rush it because it goes fast. Keeps your grades high because when senior year comes around, it's insane of all the stuff u have to do. It's fun and make the best of it.
High school is definitely a crazy place. You'll realize who your true friends are FAST. Keep your grades up that's the main thing your grades mean a lot now. Don't hang out with the wrong group to get you a bad name with all the teachers do all the clubs that get your attention and when you get a girl/boyfriend you'll see them next block no need to suck face in the hall. Stay to one said and try to make friends with the upperclassman they will help you a lot.
YAYYY! highschool! ahaha im going to be a junior this year :) i have friends in grades below me and when they became freshman i told them to make sure they keep their grades up. Stay out of trouble. Join all the clubs you can join. Make lots of friends. Have fun. Make good decisions. Pay attention. Dont let the big kids make fun of you. AND be yourself! Every person is beautiful when they are themselves and not something fake :)
