My employer changes the mileage reimbursement on a weekly basis, last week was $.25 a mile now it's a rough estimate based on gas.. ok?
As long as you are getting reimbursed for what you are putting out, that is all that really matters. Businesses aren't generally required to reimburse for mileage, so unless a specific amount was stated in your contract, there's not much you can do.
Well gas prices do fluctuate. If there is no written policies that is fine.
They technically they don't have to pay you anything. But .25 cents is nothing considering your putting wear and tear on your car too
The national average is about $0.52 a mile and that is what I get. The mileage rate does vary with gas prices, but 25 cents a mile is way under what it should be.
