Sorry, Google Chrome only allows you to open actual Google files, such as txt, rtf, png, and other files openable with extensions. .exe is an actual application, so it cannot be opened. Google has a few reasons for this, one of them being that they are very antivirus oriented and so do not want you to be able to modify the Core Processor. Another is that this would allow third party people to be able to view and edit the Chromium OS and then reproduce it for profit. Therefore, you are not able to open .exe files. Sorry
It is not possible to open .exe files on a Google Chromebook. This is because the Chrome OS does not allow for installation of third-party execution files, or any files that may be used to modify the core. Instead, you can use apps and games that can practically perform any task.

There is one way to open a .exe file on a Google Chromebook. First, you go to www.exe.com/file-extractor. Then, you click the link in the bottom column. After that, you download the free processor to your files. Then, you open the file and click yes. Lastly, you follow the 4 easy steps and then you can officially open .exe files. If page is not found go to www.exe.com/file-processor
