Is it bad if a soon to be 4 year old is obsessed with you?

last weekend he mostly wanted to dance with me at my cousins wedding I put this voice thing in a build a bear when he got cancer and now that's all he plays with and all ways has it saying "I love you Will, Get better soon."

generally it's not a bad thing most children at this age will grow out of the obsetion he is just so happy that you got him this bear so he wants to remember who gave it to him and show his gratitude to you for the bear. just enjoy it while it last.

No, he likes you.You made him happy. Couple that with being 3/4. Completely normal. Btw, kids sense insincere. You must be a sweetie.

There is nothing bad about it, you're a positive person in his life, a person he can go to for comfort. A 3 year old has a limited universe, when he become a teenager it won't be the same. Enjoy it while you can.

It's not a "crush" in terms of the ususual way.. It's liking, feeling secure, happy, fun. He's Just a baby.

Actually this is pretty normal . My son is 11 now and is still somewhat this way but he's getting better . I have tried helping him understand that he has to have friends and go play and go spend time with daddy and it's working he is really starting to gain some independence now
