Which social conditions can leads to young people towards drug addiction and crime?

Controlling household will most likely do it, kids will feel they need to rebel at one point in life. having too many rules, just increases what they will do to find their own personal identity

Completely agree. A bunch of parents here encourage over protectiveness to steer away from drugs, but in reality they are just causing it.

Being poor, or living in households/neighborhoods where drugs and crimes are the norm...

not exactly true i grew up poor working since i was 13 so i could afford to do things myself, yes, i picked up smoking at age 13 as well, but drinking didn't become a regular thing until I moved out into my own place. drugs never tempted me nor any form of criminal activity

Peer pressure and a person' individual personality are main factors. Doesn't matter about poverty, being poor or anything like that. Many young poor people don't use drugs- and many rich young people do, and the other way around too. It's a person's lack of resistance to peer pressure, and wanting to do something to follow what their friends are doing. Young people especially have a strong need to feel accepted by their peers, even taking drugs to do it.
