My goal is to live in New York but I'm not sure if my career path will allow me to afford it.
I'd like to go into Fashion Buying, I've done a fair amount of research and experienced and skilled buyer can make more than 100,000 and most people in the fashion industry that live in New York tend to make more since it's one of the fashion capitals and business is easier to find. I know City apartment rental is expensive, I read that the average is 2500/mo. but what about factoring out having to pay car payments and other things that aren't necessary when you live in walking distance of everything? If I cant live comfortably I'm not sure I want to bother, I don't want to have to be overly cheap with my money.
