You have more freedoms. My chemistry teacher was a cool guy. It was my first class of my blue day and sometimes he let me go to the store when I asked. Most teachers will be cool some won't be. And you can also make more friends. It's not scary nor is it hell. It will be hell if you don't know how to make it fun. I'm going to be a junior and well, I'm pretty sure it will be awesome. I can't describe my high school experience since it is just awesome. Just remember, a lot more freedom, more activities to do, and some cool people. You may get to befriend some upperclassmen. Try to make it fun, because if you don't, you'll want to be out o there ASAP.
High School is better than all the school that came before it,because its really the first time you begin to be treated like an adult. Also, the work is more interesting because it builds on all the general knowledge you picked up so far.The teachers are usually more relaxed and dont spend so much time yammering about "you must" and "hurry up" like they may have had to do when you were younger. Its not scary. Granted, its a little diorienting to learn a new building and a new locker location, but other than that, its better. The most important thing about High School is that you are finally at the gateway to COLLEGE.College is absolutely wonderful.Nobody asks you what year you are in anymore. You can design your own courses. School is all good. You use what you learned in your life, and you might be surprised what pops up as things you needed to know.Best of luck.I know that you will love High School!
