Try doing nice things for other people. It's amazing how it takes your focus off yourself and gives you such a positive lift. You'll also find that doing nice things for others has other rewards- like people will do nice things to you in return...

I have the same problem and I tried reading the bible's psalms. Also better your sleeping hour lack of sleep makes it worse. Also walking is relaxing and tired some to help you sleep. But most of all the number one solution is praying... God bless you i will pray for you.
Exercise is a good start - try going for a walk - 10 min/day; then 15, then 20, - till you are walking 30 min per day. Listen to music that makes you laugh or something upbeat. When you are doing things like this that are good for yourself - you will feel more in control of yourself. This is a start.
