What's the greatest off-road vehicle on earth

Report as

Hummer! When I was in the Air Force I saw one of these actually go almost completely underwater! It has a snorkel to get air into the engine. Pretty cool!

Wat's That
Report as
A 65 ton mechanical grim reaper with a 1500 HP jet turbine helicopter engine, a gun that shoots bullets the size of a grapefruit, and sights that let the crew shoot well over a mile away. (It's a tank.)

1: T-34 (USSR) (US)
First produced in 1940. Top speed: 34 mph. Range: 268 miles. The four-stroke 12-cylinder diesel engine gives a power-to-weight ratio of 15.87 horsepower per ton. Armor thickness: 65 millimeters Primary armament: 76.2-mm gun.

The T-34 scores near to full points for firepower, mobility and protection. It surpasses any other tank for ease of manufacture - gaining full points in the production category. The tank's fear factor would have been immense, and it was awarded just short of the maximum in that category.

Yup, even as a hard core anti-communist I gotta admit that was a great tank!

Yep, a cookie-cutter machine, but it happened to fall together pretty well when they designed it.

Tanks ! I'd say the M1 Abrams is the best off road vehicle ever, may not be the fastest machine ever but nothing can stop that thing :) it would probably just blow a mountain flat and cruise right over, id like to see a jeep or truck do that ;)

On an affordable note, Ford Raptors and Jeep Wranglers are pretty darn awesome.

Depends if you're excluding tanks. If you are I'd say the first Hummer slightly lifted.
If you're including tanks, I'd say the M1 Abrams tank.
