It is okay to get the bible published in vernacular languages because the messages it is intended to present will reach a good number of people. Every important book should be translated to as many languages as possible.
If you are referring to the King James version being a translation in archaic language of three or four centuries ago, then yes, it is important to have a modern translation. While the Bible's message is still there, the language is hard to readily understand. As you may know, the Bible was originally written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. It was written in the common languages of people at those times. It would be important, then, that the common people today could understand clearly what the Bible says as well, wouldn't it?
