How to tell if your inside thermostat is working correctly

I dont think that my thermostat in the house that goes with the furnace is accurate. How can I tell

You can bring in another indoor thermometer to see if your thermometer for your heating system is accurate. When looking at the second thermometer, if the temperature is the same you can assume that your heat thermostat is working properly. If the temperatures are different you may want to contact a service person to check your heating system.
