What are the benefits of doing push-ups?

Push up is an exercise that affects overall body.It strongly affects the upper part.The area which are most effected includes chest,back and shoulder.Its also effects your arms(triceps and biceps) .It is an exercise that gives strength and helps in burning calories. By continuously doing this exercise the overall shape of your body improves and you look better than before.

If you do not have the best posture I would advise against pushups. When we have poor posture it is actually due to (majority of the time) tight chest muscles and weaker or stretched out back muscles. If this is the case you want to avoid push ups. Stretch the chest and work on strengthening the back muscles to cause the body to become more erect. If you are not concerned with your posture... personally I think push ups put too much tension/ strain on the deltoids and there are easier ways to work the chest and triceps than pushups. Again it depends on your age, and if you are a beginner or have been working out. Just some food for thought

stamina and muscle tone. they also work just about every muscle in your upper body, they slightly work your biceps too!

you can do all of the push ups im just saying that women's chests become smaller because of muscle gain in the chest area.

Not only can push up exercise your muscles of arms and chest, but it also strengthen you abdomen and back muscles. There are some benefits of doing push up, like making you more handsome and attractive to girls.
Everyday I do about 100 push ups, of course, not in one time. Now I can do 50 push ups one time. I feel my muscles are stronger and bigger than before.
