Rosetta Stone is the best way. You can get it on ebay for a fraction of the original cost.

I am fluent in Japanese, German and English. Trying to learn any language this way is setting yourself up for failure.
I recommend purchasing language software and have a language tutor.

A language is learned between people not people and machines. The minimum is two people.
