my friend said she has been feeling bipolar lately idk what to say.

Bipolar is also a disorder. I suggest she doesn't joke about that unless she truly is bipolar. It is drastic changes in the mood.

Bipolar refers to a mood disorder where one can swing from depression to mania(extreme excitement ). It can be seen as both or mostly one end. The changes can be quick or over time. It can be a severe mental illness and potentially can lead to fatal behavior.

As someone who is bipolar, I can personally attest it is nothing to laugh about. It causes wide mood swings from very depressed to very happy over short or long periods of time. One day you may feel like you can do anything and are invincible. Then all of a sudden your mood swings into depression and next thing you know you are crying your eyes out over a glass you broke, or some other little thing.
These moods tend to swing back and forth. Luckily with psychiatrists, therapists, and the right meds for you, this condition is controllable.

When someone is diagnosed with Bipolar disorder they are obviously feeling like they can't control there emotions. You see, there are lots of ways that can make people feel out of control. All of our brains, are different and we perceive things different and feel things different. It can be a chemical imbalance or it can be a choice it's up to her to decide that. she can let it rule her life, crutch on it, or she can be above and beyond that. Whatever she feels more validated, she should choose that way. Life is hard for everyone, chemical imbalanced brain/disorder or not. she needs to know it's okay, that what she is picking up is things outside of herself and it's how she decides to deal with it is what will change the way she feels in her head.

People who feel nervous, happy, angry, those are just human emotions. A lot of people hide there true feelings most of the time. She is probably just a normal gir, just a little sensitive and likes to think with her emotions. She just needs life events and more education about diversity and she will be fine. Lots of narrow minded people can drive you to experiencing these emotions to the extreme. You have to feel all emotions to feel like a normal person. I have "Borderline Personality Disorder, haha what the doctor gave me. shes not a loser, she just wants to take better care of herself. Its just a name but, it means they are more sensitive. the way she can be stronger is to challenge herself. Thats the way people get stronger. she can cry and complain about it too and this may help.In order fora body to get stronger it needs to work out, otherwise it gets fat and diseases and unhealthy. Get what im saying. She needs to stop watching winny the pooh and start watching Gilmore Girls. Know what i mean jk about the last part. We all grow at different times. She needs your support this will help her and use it as a trampoline affect.

just joking. and some people have experienced horrific things in there life which makes them mentally disabled. these people need to take care of themselves and reach out and get the right help they need. I have seen untreated people with different mental illnesses they stemmed from abuse, sexual,or mental, or physical alot mental.I know alot of mentally unstable period. She needs alot of self confidence in herself and in others as simple as it sounds. Lots of people need encouragement in a discouraging world. She needs to believe and she'll get better. It's okay to feel like a person who is not like everyone else, everyone experiences that... we all have out moments. She needs to just take care of herself. Yah, thats really all.

Someone should never joke about that my best friend actually is bipolar and it's tough just talking to her about everyday things.
