Does anyone own a black and decker 36 volt cordless grass trimmer and if so do you like it?

I just bought one but don't know if I like the automatic line feed. seems to use too much line and you have to buy the pre-wound spools or it won't feed right. any thoughts?

I bought the " Worx GT " and at first thought it was a toy ! But, I'm sure sold now ! The six spools of line are only $5.95 for shipping and they last a long time. It's light and works great ! I've had it almost four years and never had a problem and it cuts like crazy ! I just bought a newer one with two Lithium batteries and it works great too ! Very happy with their products and the cheap line replacements ! The other one I had was like yours and ate up line and you had to buy the over-priced spools. This one is just 18 volts and I have a big backyard with a pool and it does the job !

Yes, that's the one ! I dig it ! It doesn't throw junk all over in the pool ! I just click the little button on the side for how much line length I need. I know it looks like a toy and I laughed when my wife bought it. But I wouldn't have any other now!

That's why I wanted one. Their small spools, but they go a long ways ! My wife bought me one online and the spools are free. Just $5.95 shipping. That little light weight trimmer works great ! I 've got a big back yard so I will wear down one battery and then snap the spare in, and finish up. It also turns on it's side and cuts a nice edge too !

You can go right to the Worx site and see them there too. That's where you order your spools !

It sounds like an attempt to create convenience where it's unneeded. "if it ain't broke. ." I hate mostly all Black and Decker products. They are cheaply designed, and not a bit as durable as I need them to be. All of my landscaping equipment is 'Stihl'. It's great stuff. Do it once, do it right.
