What do I do for sleep?

Lately, it's been taking me about 30min-1 hour or more to fall asleep! I keep getting songs stuck in my head and I don't know what to think about while falling asleep! Last night I had SO much trouble. What are some tips to fall asleep quicker???

I find herbal tea like Nighty Night or Sleepytime help me fall asleep faster. Also turning off all electronics and reading for a little bit helps as well.

calming music (instrumental is best)
maybe try sleeping meds
or try working hard all day then sleeping
some people need colder rooms

I have the same problem. What you need to do in bed is try and relax your mind. If you think too much it'll keep you awake

read some boring books or just lie in bed with your eyes closed and relax... :)

I use melitonin and play instrumentals rather than music with words.

I use calming music, I read before bed and I think of baby names I like for the alphabet. Like a names for boys and girls. B names for boys and girls. Also you might need to talk to your doctor sometimes there's a condition that keeps you from falling asleep.best of luck :)

try having a fan on in your room and maybe some relaxing music playing too... just stuff to distract your brain and let it know it is time to sleep... like, when I was young, and even into my teen years, I would have a fan on in my room to drown out other sounds and I would have a lullaby casette (or CD) playing (I know, it's 'little kid-ish' but it worked) and eventually in my teen years, whenever I was in my room about to go to bed, I would think that I heard the music playing before I even turned it on :P I guess I had heard it so many times that my brain knew when it was tired it should be hearing that sound :P
Anyway, yeah, just have other sounds in your room to distract your brain... good luck

Pray to God for sleep, get in bed and repeat the Lords prayer over and over. I have insomnia as well and that works!
Try 5-HTP
Melatonin
Valerian root

I listen to music or watching youtube videos, if your comfy and warm just do something that makes your eyes sleepy like reading watching youtube videos, then you'll slowly fall asleep.
