How to you treat an older dogs ruptured eardrum? Cant afford the vet!

You kind find information here, including how it's treated: http://www.vcahospitals.com/main/pet-health-information/article/animal-health/tympanic-membrane-rupture-and-middle-ear-infection/6476

You probably can't treat it yourself. A ruptured ear drum is excruciatingly painful! You must take your dog to the vet. You just have to find a way. There are low cost vets you can take your dog to. Search for one in your area. I'm sorry that it's going to cost you financial trouble but there's no other way. You are responsible for the dog. You wouldn't with hold a family member treatment just because it's expensive would you? So how is it right to do that? I can't afford a vet either yet I took a stray cat that hangs around me to the vet. Twice. One time it saved his life. You made a commitment to that dog when you adopted him, to leave him to suffer because it will be a hardship to take him to the vet is not an option.

That is painful and requires antibiotics. Maybe you can find vet who takes payments or ask the humane society.

Omg. That dog would be in such horrific pain. This poor dog needs a vet.

As he is an older dog and is in pain, the vet might say you should put him down and out of his misery. My opinion is to end his suffering if the vet says there is nothing he can do. I am so sorry.
