Every time I swallow, my throat feels scratchy and burns. Why?

It's been like this since I woke up.

gargling with warm salt water sometimes helps if your looking for a cheap temporary remedy but it all depends also what youve been swallowing prior to your condition, retrace your mouth intake and investigate if any thing that youve done may have triggered your problem..

You might have strep throat, so it might be good if you go see a doctor.

It can also come from a common disease called gastroesophageal reflux. Which is commonly known as heartburn. Definitely contact your primary. You also have to look at factors as what your diet consists of. Spicy foods can do it, chocolate, garlic, etc.
