Why are there so many strange animals flourishing in the Everglades? 12 foot pythons giant rats, pirranhas? What is going on?
People get the animals as pets and then find they can't cope with them. So they dump them in the Everglades, which is a perfect habitat for these interlopers and they breed like crazy because they have no natural predators in the Everglades.
The pythons are there from being released by irresponsible pet owners and then breeding. Rats are there because rats are everywhere there's ample food. The pythons eat the rats too...
It's because of the environment, if the environment will sustain it, it will probably be there.
cold blooded animals grow their entire lives and according to their environment ie. the larger the environment the larger the critter.I don't know about giant rats tho
