How much gas will vehicles use in the US 100 years from now?

Report as

Doubtful that we can predict this. Technology is changing so fast these days, that it's impossible to know what other options will have been developed by then.

Probably none. Electric vehicles will likely take over and will have less pollutants.

but the batteries used by electric vehicles are so toxic that they have to be buried 1000 feet from any people. and it kills any wildlife around it for extended periods of time. and they leave a greater overall impact however it doesn't release its hazards until end of life

Also, 68% of elctrical production in the world is still from fossil fuels, so that electricity coming from your socket is still the result of fossil fuels being burned. Only instead of petroleum, it's more likely coal or natural gas.
