Trying to finish packing, is it safe to place fragile items together in a box?

I am moving in two weeks time, and I have wrapped up and padded items in boxes that are fragile or potentially fragile. We are going to have professional movers though. I have also wrote on the boxes that they are fragile in large black lettering. Is it safe to assume when we get to our new place our fragile items will be okay and still intact?

The last time I moved with professional movers, I used my clothing and bedding, towels, whatever, to wrap fragile items, the really delicate items one to a box surrounded by fabric and the box marked in red FRAGILE. Everything arrived intact; the box with my typewriter was "lost" but insurance bought me a new one. Irreplaceable fragile items survived.

Like the other guy said, you can wrap them in other things that will protect them from bumping each other, like a t shirt. You could also just put a lot of cheap tissue paper between them if you for some reason don't have clothes and things available to put in there.
