Could i have 3 diff ans Explain how freeze-thaw weathering works.
that is my question
I know only one I'm not sure if this is right i am only 14.... water goes into a crack in a rock then it freezes. when it freezes it expands making the crack bigger and bigger
alexandria has the correct answer. Each time the water melts, it goes deeper into the crack, then when it freezes it expands again, making the crack slightly larger. When this happens over and over the rock is slowly pried apart.
