1) Gargling Salt and warm water works great but tastes nasty 2)Tea with honey tastes good and helps (only add honey if the tea is warm though, drink tea alone if youre gonna keep it cold) 3) I used to get sore throats constantly throughout last school year, (Im gonna be a 10th grader) so I kept cough drops or losenges in my backpack they really work wonders man Thats the three methods I can think of so hope something works :)
Try gargling a warm water and salt solution a few times a day. Salt is a mild antiseptic, so it will help your throat heal faster. You can also go to your local drugstore and ask for sore throat lozenges, or contact your doctor for medical advice.
I got this not too long ago but in my case it was slowly swelling too. But you should see a doctor cause I saw the doc on time and they told me it was strep but if I waited too long I would've had to stay in the hospital. If it is strep they'll just give you medicine and it should heel. And just to let you know when I had this and I gargled lemon and salt it hurt SOSO much. So I wouldn't recommend it
Apple cider vinegar with the mother; 'the mother' just means unpasteurized. Gargle, or you can even mix a little with luke warm water and drink it, but be careful not to add too much, cause it will burn your throat, ironic, I know, but it works!
