i have to wonder if your telling the whole story. are you reading it during class, or during your breaks? b/c regardless of what your doing, if it's not class work and your doing it during class time, then you're not allowed to do it.
Depending if your in high school or primary you may or may not be able to read in class if it not class work, if your class religion it may be alright as it to do with religion if they let you. You can still read the bible outside of class or on the way home they won't stop you from bringing the bible every kid has their right with learning from the bible of any age during school
NO! You bring the bible!!! And they can't do anything about it!! Schools can't do anything that has to with a students religions. As for jews during passover they are not supposed to do work for a week. A student can easily get a week off of school and the school can't do anything. By the schools telling you not to bring it anymore just proves how bad the world is getting!!! If i were you i would bring the bible to school, i would read it in front of teachers, i would spread the word, if you do that i guarantee you that you will get blessings!!
Contact the ACLJ or American Center for Law and Justice. They are like the Christian version of the ACLU and spend A LOT of time defending Christian students legal rights and smacking down schools who try to violate those rights as yours is doing. You have a legal right to carry and read your Bible at school. Usually all the ACLJ lawyers need to do is send a legal letter explaining your legal rights and the consequences if they cont to violate them and the school backs diwn fast. Here are some numbers: Legal Helpline Phone: 757-226-2489 Legal Helpline Fax: 757-226-2836 Just call. They should be very helpful when it comes to violation of religious rights under the law.
