It benefits those in the communities that are unable to provide for themselves and their family. With the economy the way it is families that have never had to use the food banks are finding they need them. This is why it's so important to (when you can) donate to the food banks.
The people who benefit from food banks are mostly those from poor countries or any place that is struck with a calamity. Some of the calamities include; war, tornadoes, fire and drought. This bank donates the food to such people in form of relief.
Some are people who has lost their jobs, been hurt and can#039;t work, or they are in a unfortunate situation (single mothers, widows, ect). The Food Pantry provides a little extra food (some more then others) to make it from month to month. The pantry is a lot if work, but very rewarding. You can always volunteer or donate food or money - like Noni suggested... :)
