How do i improve my scorpion ?

im a high school cheerleader. i can pull my leg back into a scorpion but it looks sort of deformed lol . any advice to improve my scorpion ?

you just really have to stretch ever day do the splits if u can and then pull your back leg as close as you can to your head it really helps that's how I stretch
