Am I paid more if I file for social security 5 months after my birth date or the same amount as I would collect in the month of my birth?

Report as

You are not paid differently, whether you file for Social Security 5 months after your birth date or at exact date when you were born. Regardless of which day you file for Social Security, you will be paid the same amount of money. You may consult your Social Security officer in your state for details.

What? Social Security Retirement, SSDisability Insurance benefits, or SSI? Because if it is SSDI, then amount is based on what you earned during the last so many quarters that you worked. in that case, don't make the mistake I made when I had been unemployed and disabled for months before I filed. If you earned 0 during some of the quarters then they calculate your average pay, even if you earned nothing.
