First Date. who should text first?

Long story short lol. I met this guy at work 3 days ago he asked for my # and out on a date. We went to the movies, and I actually think we had a pretty good connection and this can take us somewhere (hopefully). Question is does it really matter if a girl or the guy texts first after the 1st date? and is it good that he didn't try anything (which I like) on the first date? now a days guys do try to grab hand and all that which I personally think is not good, but I need help please and thank you.

I don not think it matters who text first.. but it is more romantic if he text first! From the way you asked the question.. you really want him to text you but you are a little impatient and can not stop thinking about him lol. It is very good that he did not make any moves on the first date, especially at a movie theater. But keep your guard up, guys can not be trusted lol.

it doesn't matter who texts first. if he didn't try anything that's a pretty good sign that he's not a dog.

Its good that he didnt pressure you on the first date. He probably didnt hold your hand because you met 3 days ago. I dont think it matters who texts first :) good luck

If you want to make an impression on this guy: do not text him, but rather give him a hand-written note (or card) thanking him for the date you had.

Texting carries an impersonal, safe, and often inaccurate component to it - in matters of romance - you need all the information you can get: voice tone, facial expressions, body language, gestures, types of simile, etc. - texting is "safe" but often gives you false impressions - and everyone does it - so it's common - do something shocking - actually make the effort to send the guy a small thank you card - drop some perfume on it for added effect (try sending a perfume scent with a text - we're not that advanced yet. ;-)
