I have to apply for a new passport. But i had made a name change a year back and my certificates contain old name. so whats the procedure?

I only have the gazette book provided by the gazette office in Chennai which was given to me after the name change.

walgreens can make passports and also have information about the guidlines for creating that passport. take your old one in and explain the situation simply saying you need a current updated passport.

true if you're not a u.s citizen or currently residing they have different procedures. but you only take a few extra steps with added paperwork. I was going to reside in Paris for a modeling contract and I want to say I would have to had filled out about 10 extra forms, had a backround check, and verified proof of residence etc. good luck!
