If an earth sized object collided with earth at a speed of 7.2 kilometers per hour what would happen.

Long answer: Force = Mass*Acceleration and the mass of the earth is 5.972E24 kg which is 5,972,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kg at 7.2 kpm and that times 7.2 is 5.3E25 which is 53,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 newtons is the force

Short answer: Well if they were the same size then it would be massively destructive, but since it is moving aswell it would be very massively destructive, probably killing all of the things on the side it hit, moving the earth out of its orbit from the sun which would cause things on the other side to go flying and would redirect the earth partially out of orbit

I don't think it would be the catastrophic. 7.2 kilometers per hour is pretty slow. The gravity would cause the atmosphere to thin enough to where life would be unsustainable.
