Unfortunately, Pomeranians, being nippy dogs, mixed with the territorial sometimes aggressive nature of a Chow Chow could be a tragic mix. This is one mix I wouldn't recommend to anyone with small children or first time dog owners.
Most likely, looking at the pictures online, these aren't mixes, they're just large Pomeranians. Non-standard to breed type, and most likely sold as pets, which have been bred until they have become so large they're unrecognizable as a purebred Pomeranian.
But I can't guarantee that. Poms would have different temperaments than a pom/chow mix.
