What is the world's most energy efficient wood burning fireplace/stove?

We would like to have the worlds most energy efficient wood burning fireplace or stove. It does not matter where it is from, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Russia Germany, Canada, as long as the stoves are capable of heating a home during cold northern winters. Thanks for any input.

The world's most energy efficient wood burning/ fireplace stove is the Maxanim Xtra. It is the most efficient in the world.

Check out www.epa.gov/compliance/resources/.../woodstoves/certifiedwood.pdf If you can find a Schrader Wood Stove (company now out of business) it has a great reputation.

I've owned a couple, had relatives who owned them also. They're still on the market. No wasted heat, sorry you didn't want my info. I don't answer "No" because the mods advise against doing that. My thoughts were if the person who asked the question came upon a Schrader out there (if you noted the link I showed) they would know that it could be a good buy--even if used. Have you ever had a wood stove?
