Well I don't know about New York but in Minnesota I got asked about what different signs meant, what was legal or illegal, what turn lane you had to be in, I got asked a few true or false questions those ranged from a variety of different things, which way you turn your wheels when up a hill. If you pay attention in your class you will be just fine and pass. I barely studied for mine and I only got -3 and that's simply because they were on things that no one talked about or told me about. i cant imagine your test being to much different. Good luck.
Check online. Here in Nebraska, we can go online, and actually take the written test for practice. You end up seeing all the questions on the test, and after a few times, you start to remember enough to pass the test. They might offer this in New York too.
