Proactiv only works for some. For me it works very well, but it has no effect on my sister. All people are different with different skin types. One simple home remedy that I have found effective on my skin is coffee. Make coffee in a coffee maker, take out the grounds afterward and put them in a bowl. Add five tablespoons of sugar and five table spoons of cream and apply it to your face (a silicon brush works well) Scrub it into your face for a decent five minutes, then rinse off with warm water. Rub an ice cube over your face when your finished and pat dry. Hope this helped and you can find a product/remedy for your skin! ^_^
proactive doesn't work! i tried and also some of my friends tried and it didnt work!!! so what i use is acne stress control a face wash and toner!!!! the toner makes you're pimples disapere the next day!!! and its like 7 bucks!!!!
This product is absolutely a miracle worker! In fact, i should be charging you to tell you how amazing this product is. Works in like, 2-4 hours. Its called Oxy Spot Treatment. This product alone is amazing but i can't say the same thing about the other products made by Oxy.
Try some kind of mud mask, not the peel off kind. I have been using something called dri lo it is liquid in a small bottle. They sell it on the tv channel that has Sylvester Stallone's wife on it. It looks like calamine lotion, but has sulfur in it that kills all the bacteria. You could also use calamine lotion but the drying affect ends when the lotion dries so you would have to keep applying it. Good luck!!! proactive has a mask in a little tube that is like a mud, but it has sulfur in it too, works for me.
I use two things: first is clean and clear persa gel that you can get at walmart. It says that it is prescription strength. Also, there is this walmart brand sulfur mask. It seems strange, but it works. I use it at night before I put on the persa gel. I leave it on for 5-10 minutes on the really large, sore pimples on my face and then wash it off and use the persa gel over my whole face. I also got a face scrubber to use in the shower in the morning to wash it off, since it will burn a little in the shower if you don't wash it off good. Does not get rid of all of the pimples, but I don't have to go to the dermatologist for it, and it is relatively non-expensive. I have a friend who swears that using lemon and lime juice on her face works well, but her acne is more moderate whereas mine is severe and the juice doesn't work quite as well for me. Good luck!
