How long does it take for sunburn (blisters) to go away?

Sunday I was at the races and I got a really bad sunburn on my chest. It stings bad!!!! I just realized this morning that there is a blister:/ It's Tuesday now and on Saturday we have to get ready for the fair and we are going to be there all day everyday the whole week. Do you have any suggestions to get rid of it fast without hurting it? How long will it take to be gone?

The blister will likely heal by Saturday if you don't mess with it. You will probably be peeling pretty good though. Get some 100% aloe vera gel (read the ingredients list!) and apply frequently to your skin to keep it moisturized and soothed.

Thanks a lot:) The only problem is I can't like rub anything on it 'cuz it hurts to touch it. I have been using solarcaine will that help?

It's not 100% aloe but it has lidocaine in it so that'll help the pain. Should be fine, just keep something on it and don't go out in the sun for a while. And get a really good sunscreen before Saturday, an SPF 30 or greater, and be SURE to reapply every couple of hours.

Ingredients:
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice , Isobutane , Propane , Propylene Glycol , Glycerin , Simethicone , Tocopheryl AcetateVitamin E Acetate , Triethanolamine , Carbomer , Diazolidinyl Urea , Methylparaben , Propylparaben , Disodium Cocoamphodipropionate , Disodium EDTA

A week or two. Use lots of aloe to help restore skin. Works well when you put it in the fridge.

Tomato juice is highly beneficial for treating sunburn blisters. Take one fourth cup of tomato juice or tomato paste and mix it with one and a half cup of buttermilk. Apply this mixture on the damage area and wash it off with cold water after half an hour.

well if u put a special product on your sunburn then it will take at least 2 to 3 days (or more, depends how bad) for it to clear up.

I got blisters from sunburn to..it sucks! But all I did was keep putting aloe on until the sunburn went away and with the sunburn gone, shortly after my blisters were permanent (I don't think you can get them to go away) sunspots, which they look like freckles..of course how they heal and what they'll look like afterwards depends on what they look like now.
