help help with my math there are 25 students in math class yesterday 6 students were absent what percent of the students were absent

Report as

To calculate the percentage of students who were absent in the class, simply subtract the number of absentee students from the total number of students. Then, divide the result by the total number. Finally, multiply the resulting value with 100 to get the percentage.

X25 = 6
X = 6/25
X = 0.24

Percent = 0.24 * 100

Therefore: 24%

(Check yourself: 0.24*25 = 6)
