Why does my dog always rub his face against the couch or chair after I give him a bath?

He does that while growling. My dog is weird...
When he goes outside he starts to play in the dirt and he gets himself all dirty so I have to give him a bath.

My dog does the same thing. Also lays on his back and flips around. Lol. But I don't let him in the backyard till he is fully dry so he doesn't get dirty again. I think they do it to get dryed off. Try drying him with a towel really good and it should make your dog not do it for so long.

I do but he always yelps and bites
I know I don't hurt him when I do that
He only goes outside to go to the bathroom or playtime. While he's out there he starts digging in the mud and dirt.

I play with him in the house till he is all dry then let him out. Or maybe try your hair dryer on him. Lol. Also I found brushing him makes him dry faster also. They are just dogs, Lol, thats why they call them dogs. They don't mind being dirty.

Most dogs will rub themselves on a couch or chair after taking a bath because they are trying to dry themselves. You can try drying the dog properly after bath to see if this will stop.

it might be because he's trying to dry himself off or worse case scenario is if there is still a small amount of soap in between his fur thats making his skin itchy
