How to deal with everything...

I'm going through a pretty rough time right now. My depression kicked in around last month when I ran out of my medication. My anxiety levels are at an all time high as well as stress. I can't even leave my bed anymore without breaking down at the simplest of things, I can't eat, it's hard to sleep. My mother won't take me to a therapist, thinking it's just my hormones although she knows most of what I've been for, having stopped me from suicide twice and my cutting, not knowing about a third attempt. One of my main outlets, role playing, not sexual but such as story telling online, has become harder for me now. Even getting online to just talk to my friends hurts. My ideas have run out, it's not that I'm a bad role player it's that I think of anything good and have given up. I just need some help, please? Maybe someone to talk to or some pointers on what I should do because I'm running out of ideas.

(1) I think you need to see a therapist, but I'm not clear why your mother either won't take you or doesn't think it's necessary (2) are you taking any medication for your depression? Prozac can help and does come in a generic so it's cheaper than a brand name (3) your regular doctor (at least mine does) has prescribed a low dose of Prozac for me and that helps me with my depression. Your cutting / self-harming is disturbing and your depression is enough that what used to be fun for you (role-playing) is not helping.

As suggested above, I think it's time you kicked the depression in the A$$. Try and get out every day for a walk, even if it's just around the block a couple of times. Call the Boys Town National Hotline for help 800-448-3000 - they are always staffed. Reach out to our doctor for help. Good luck.

Try some exercising, get a lot of sun light(it makes you cheerful naturally, and ask yourself sometimes would an average person be upset about this and then move on and don't stray on the current.

it doesn't sound like you have anyone that is specifically bothering you?

sometimes a nice hobby is good.

Good luck I try not to let things get to me too much.

Talk to people! There are so many people will listen, and there's websites where people can tell their stories and listen to yours. I don't know if you read, but I always use a book to just escape reality. Try new things, things to express your originality like painting, drawing, singing, editing music, playing an instrument, etc.

If all else fails, get back to me! I'm able to help, whether you need more suggestions, or just want to talk. I'm here. :)
