Was Anne Frank imprisoned in a concentration camp?

Report as

Yes. After a long time of hiding behind a book shelf I believe her and her family were finally found and put in a camp where she died.

The Frank family moved from Germany to Amsterdam in 1933, the year the Nazis gained control over Germany. By the beginning of 1940, they were trapped in Amsterdam by the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. As persecutions of the Jewish population increased in July 1942, the family went into hiding in some concealed rooms in the building where Anne's father worked. After two years, the group was betrayed and transported to concentration camps. Anne Frank and her sister, Margot, were eventually transferred to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where they died of typhus in March 1945.

Yes she was, and she died there. If you have an interest in the life of the courageous young woman, read "The Diary of Anne Frank". It's her actual diary of the time she spent in hiding with her family and others. You'll never forget it.

Yes, just weeks before the war was over she did pass away. The only family of hers that made it out alive was her father and he soon after published her diary to let people know all the crap Jewish people had to face every day during that war.
