It is a trip of a lifetime. Go at leat once. Second and third and fourth times not as great. Be prepared for weather, food, and long walks and waits. Stay secure and safe at all times.

It's beautiful and fun but you really don't want to go to times square, way way too crowded! There are much better ways in New York to spend your new years!
