The best way is to just do it. Sing in front of a small crowd then when your not nervous as much move to a larger crowd. Do this a few times and you should be ok. Good luck and don't be nervous, just remember to have fun and they will love your singing.

Sometimes you just gotta face it. Don't think about too much that's how I got over it.

Since I am a performer myself and I usually get pretty nervous since nobody can really see me I start off by singing with my eyes closed and then when i become more comfortable i open them, or you can focus on a spot in the back of the room and you just won't notice the crowd :) i hope this helped

Pretend everyone is in there underwear jk. On a serious note you can look straight above there heads or look down. You can even walk back and forth do you don't have to look at them. Start small and work up to a bigger crowd

Sing backup or with someone for the first song to get comfortable, then sing the second song alone, or do just a part alone. Don't let a lot of time go by between the occasions you sing in front of everyone.

Practice in front of family then friends and always remember Those who want to judge only weed out the ones you don't want around anyway plus it never hurts to try.... so no loss to you! Right?.. Good luck

Face your fears and do it over and over at home and feel that relaxation and try to bring that feeling back on stage

Buck up and do it. Its terrifying the first few times, but after you practice enough, you will have no problem getting in front of any size crowd and sharing your voice. You can do it!! Believe in yourself.

I recently participated in a school play. I have terrible stage fright. During all the rehearsal i was even afraid to do everything i was supposed to...so the director changed a few things to help me. I was so scared on the night of the play but when i went out there, i did everything correctly! i had practiced so much that it was natural! dont get me wrong it was still terrifying, and im also not saying that im over my stage fright. My advice to you is to practice! And once you have had enough practice in front of audiences u will be more comfortable! But dont expect too much! Not many people ever become completely comfortable in front of an audience!
Hope I could help! :)

The only fears that are rational come from our ancestors, monkeys. Since they lived in trees, their only fears were falling (now known as a fear of heights), and poisonous snakes on the ground below. So that particular fear is irrational. Just keep telling yourself that you have nothing to be afraid of.

I take drama classes every Sunday and back in march we performed a 1 hour long show, it was great, 3 nights running! So much fun! As this was my first proper performance on a proper stage where maybe some very famous people once performed on too, I was quite nervous! My good friend who has been acting for years now told me not to be scared and perform your best, my coaches told us all not to look at anyone or try to find anyone in the audience as it is very likely to put us off. It worked! Jus do your best! If you mess up (which is very unlikely) improvise, you have read the script you can get back in track. I discovered once you have performed once you just want to do it over and over again!
I hope this helped!

Know that it's all in your head and you're making it worse by thinking about it and fueling the fire of anxiety. Just do it... don't think, just turn it on, become a warrior and conquer the crowd. And also keep in mind that NOBODY is judging you, and if they do, it's because they are insecure with their own ability

Just think of the people as imaginary figures, I had to do a class play ( Sam McGee) and I had a solo line. I had to speak super loud and with good speech I find it easy just to pretend they are not there dont look directly at there face

Believe that only the people you love and care about are there or just look in the back of the wall behind them so it looks like you're looking at them but in reality you're looking OVER them and not looking at them.

I have done acting for years, and I still get nervous! Just take deep breaths and calm yourself. Take your time, they are there for YOU! Focus on the song/lines. I find that gesturing with my hands takes some stress off. Make sure when you practice, to visualize the crowd. Hope this helped, and break a leg!
