I have a ear ache. What can I do for the pain?

You can take a cotton ball or something, soak it in rubbing alcohol and let it drip a few drops in each ear. Or you can pour peroxide in them and let them drain. (avoid getting water in ears after showering or letting wins blow in them)

Apply heat to your ear either by pressing a heating pad to it or take a wash cloth and soak it and wring it out the best you can and heat it I the microwave and press it to your ear.

Sleep with a halved onion on your ear...old home remedy, but it works. It draws out the toxins that are causing the ear (probably infection).

Do NOT do this. This is a bad suggestion, and may infect your ear even more. Go to snopes.com and view "Cut Onion Contamination" or simply Google something like "onion and toxins" and you will find it.

an old-fashion remendy for the pain is to warm olive oil and put a couple drops in your ear. My mom used to do this when i was little and had an earache, It worked great.

It depends on the kind of pain. If they are clogged, a decongestant like Pseudophedrine may help drain them or relieve any pressure. If you have had pain longer than 3 days you may have an infection and want to see a doctor.
