What is the pH of aqua regia and how it is stored?

Report as

Aqua regia is a 3:1 molar ratio of concentrated nitric acid and concentrated hydrochloric acid. Its pH is near zero, so it's HIGHLY acidic. It is so named ("royal water") because it has the unique ability to dissolve noble medals like gold and platinum. It is typically freshly mixed as it degrades quickly; glass containers are recommended, but certain ceramic containers can also be used.
