I've had acne since second grade (I know, pretty early huh? :P) and I'm fourteen now and entering high school. I've tried everything from washes, to creams, scrubs, lotions and medications. None of them worked. I'd go and see a dermatologist first. My dermatologist who I just saw a few weeks ago prescribed me this medication you put on your face where you need it, AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM. You need a prescription though, and you pick it up at the pharmacy since its not sold over the counter. Products I've heard work but didn't work on me were Proactive and Epiduo. I also heard that if you take lemon juice and pat some on your skin it'll help heal your acne and tone your skin. But apply a lotion afterwards as the lemon juice can dry out your skin since its acidic. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT, do NOT pick, scratch, or pop your acne. I learned the hard way and I have a bunch of blemishes on my face that won't go away. Scars basically. If you have a pimple or a zit, just let it be. Well, Good luck! I hope your acne goes away. :) If you have any other questions just ask. ;) I know A LOT about acne.
Try a clarisonic acne brush with the acne cream. It'll clean out your pores so acne doesn't come back easily, plus it'll clean up the acne you have so it won't get any worse. Don't pop anything; that makes it worse and might leave a scar afterwards.
You can use plain warm water to open the pores. You will then use rinse off your face with icy cold water as it improves blood circulation to the affected area. You can also create a blend of honey and cinnamon to make a paste and apply it over the pimples. Honey is known for its quick healing process. Wash you face twice a day with the same two cleansers everyday. (I am so sorry if that didn't make sense!) But, some cleansers don't work as well as others do for your skin, and your skin does get used to one over time. :D
There are many acne face cleansers, but I find natural products work best. Sugar, out of all things, is supposed to take the redness out of the blemish. I have a recipe: Mix a little baby oil, and a little sugar into a paste and apply to skin.
