When you record rap, do you stack your tracks? (Like the first track for pronunciation and the second track for effects then later ad lib)

Report as

This is party of the process of recording rap music. However, it is not the entire process. Recording is done using specialized recording software. The software performs the special effects that the music will require.

I know effects are separate, but I mean stacking specifically. I used to hate stacking because I just did the exact same way on the second track and it sounded like an echo, but other people apparently use stacking to make their tracks sound more hype. They will do it monotone the first time around so the words are well-pronounced/understandable then stack it with a very expressive track
