Psalms 139: 14. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. As well as the 23rd Psalm. (Those have been two of my favorites since I was probably 10 years old.) I also found this page, and loved all the Bible verses that they suggest.

Any verse that adults learn can be good for children that age. Bible verses aren't exclusive. But you can search for verses in Psalms and Proverbs. Teach them Philippians 4:13, Nahum 1:7, 1Corinthians 10:13, 2 Timothy 1:7, Isaiah 25:1, Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 28:19, Mark 10:25, Luke 9:23, John 3:16, John 10:30, John 20:29, Romans 3:20, 2 Corinthians 1:20, Philippians 2:3, Philippians 4:4, Hebrews 11:16, James 1:5, 1 Peter 5:8, Revelation 21:4.
John 3:16-17 If they never learn any other verses they need to know these. These verses are a synopsis of the purpose and intent of the entire Bible. They are Gods mission statement. 'For God loved the world SO much that He sent His son to die so that ANY who believed would not die but have eternal life. God did not send Christ to condemn the world. He sent Christ so that, through him, the world would be saved.'
