Is 4 Years Too Big Of An Age Gap?

So I am 13 and before you go yelling at me for being interested in a guy older then me just PLEASE read all that I have to say! I am not interested in dating this guy. He is now 18(he turned 18 July 15) . But he was born in 1995 and I was born in 1999 so he is still 4 years older then me. I will be turning 14 in November. IF I waited until I was of legal age would 4 years be to big of an age gap be too much? ALSO, when it comes to age gaps, how big is too big?

Once you're legal age, there is no such thing as too much of an age gap. If you love someone, age doesn't matter.

There's no such thing as too much age gap IF both people are adults or at least close to adulthood. However, as you know, 13 is tender age for dating adult man. I hope your dad has a broom!

when you're of age, age doesn't matter. you do get the people who think that's its bad for people to have a huge age gap but honestly it shouldn't matter as long as you love that person. when you're 18, dating someone a few years older than you is pretty normal

When you reach 18 the age difference will be acceptable. It's just now that it is improper.

In the USA, it is looked at badly, i moved to the Philippines and age here means nothing, i am 22 years older than my wife now and in the USA, another wife i had was the opposite, 14 years older than me, it is a choice of people, on the same token, because of your young age, he can get in trouble now, but not when you are legal age

Just wait when he's 24 and you'll be 20. No one will find that wrong.

I believe 10 years is way too high, 4 years is not that high, 5 years= use caution, but love is love, age gaps are just restrictions made by personal taste, not everyone has the same age gap, they do share some common ones but it's mainly the rare ones who become long relationship... as long as you're careful.

My mum is 4 years older than my dad, he was 21 and she was 25, they dated a week and were engaged that Sunday. Of course that's not advisable even though they are still happily married to this day but the point is that it does not matter. Now if you were 24 and seeking out a 31 year old I would worry. I hope everything works out when you turn 18 :)

When your over 18 it won't matter. And 4 years isn't too big an age gap. For example my dad is 8 years older than my mom, and they're happily married.

I'm 4 years older then my husband of 23 years. We met in our early 30s. At that age, 4 years aren't real big deal. But we've disgusted that if we'd met when he was 16 and I was 20 we likely wouldn't have ever connected.
